LIMITATION ON REDUCTIONS TO V-22 AIRCRAFT NACELLE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM.

SEC. 125. LIMITATION ON REDUCTIONS TO V-22 AIRCRAFT NACELLE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM. (a) Limitation.—Except as provided in subsection (b), the Secretary of Defense shall upgrade not fewer than 24 V-22 aircraft under the V-22 nacelle improvement program in accordance with the plan for such program set forth in the budget of the President for fiscal year 2024 (as submitted to Congress under section 1105(a) of title 31, United States Code). (b) Exception.—The Secretary of Defense may reduce the number of aircraft upgraded under subsection (a) below 24 if the Secretary certifies to the congressional defense committees that such reduction is in the interests of national security.
