EXTENSION OF PACIFIC DETERRENCE INITIATIVE AND REPORT, BRIEFINGS, AND PLAN UNDER THE INITIATIVE.

SEC. 1302. EXTENSION OF PACIFIC DETERRENCE INITIATIVE AND REPORT, BRIEFINGS, AND PLAN UNDER THE INITIATIVE. (a) Extension of Initiative.—Subsection (c) of section 1251 of the William M. (Mac) Thornberry National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 (10 U.S.C. 113 note) is amended— (1) by striking “the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023” and inserting “the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024”; and (2) by striking “fiscal year 2023” and inserting “fiscal year 2024”. (b) Extension of Report and Briefings.—Subsection (d) of such section is amended— (1) in paragraph (1)(A), by striking “fiscal years 2024 and 2025” and inserting “fiscal years 2025 and 2026”; and (2) in paragraph (2), by striking “fiscal years 2023 and 2024” each place it appears and inserting “fiscal years 2025 and 2026”. (c) Extension of Plan.—Subsection (e) of such section is amended by striking “fiscal years 2023 and 2024” and inserting “fiscal years 2025 and 2026”.
