438.firefighter pay cap.Section 1701 of division B of the Extending Government Funding and Delivering Emergency Assistance Act (5 U.S.C. 5547 note), as amended by Public Law 117-103, is further amended—(1)in subsection (a)(1), by striking the last sentence and inserting Any Services during a given calendar year that generate payments payable in the subsequent calendar year shall be disregarded in applying this subsection; and(2)in subsections (a), (b), and (c) by inserting or 2024 after or 2023 each place it appears.
