ADJUSTMENT AND DIVERSIFICATION ASSISTANCE FOR STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS AFFECTED BY DEPOT REDUCTIONS.

SEC. 371. ADJUSTMENT AND DIVERSIFICATION ASSISTANCE FOR STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS AFFECTED BY DEPOT REDUCTIONS. (a) In General.—Section 2391(b)(1) of title 10, United States Code, is amended— (1) by striking “or” after “military installation resilience,”; (2) by inserting “or (G) by any action of the Department of Defense that negatively affects a covered depot (as such term is defined in section 2476(f) of this title),” after “ the defense facility,”; and (3) by striking “(C), or (F)” and inserting “(C), (F), or (G)”. (b) Report.—Not later than 60 days after the date of the enactment of the Act, the Secretary of Defense shall submit to the congressional defense committees a report that includes an identification of the amount of adjustment and diversification assistance anticipated to be provided pursuant to the amendment made by subsection (a) during fiscal year 2026 to State and local governments for each covered depot.
