SEC. 212. MODIFICATION TO MECHANISMS TO PROVIDE FUNDS TO DEFENSE LABORATORIES AND OTHER ENTITIES FOR RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNOLOGIES FOR MILITARY MISSIONS. Section 4123 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— (1) in the section heading, by inserting “and test organizations” after “defense laboratories”; (2) by inserting “or test organization” after “laboratory” each place it appears; (3) in subsection (a)(3), by inserting “or test organizations” after “laboratories”; and (4) by adding at the end the following new subsection: “(d) Test Organization Defined.—In this section, the term ‘test organization’ means a test organization of the Major Range and Test Facility Base specified in Department of Defense Directive 3200.11 or any successor directive.” .
