SEC. 713. MODIFICATION OF LIMITATION ON REDUCTION OF MILITARY MEDICAL MANNING END STRENGTH. Section 741 of the James M. Inhofe National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023 (Public Law 117-263; 136 Stat. 2676; 10 U.S.C. 129c note) is amended— (1) in subsection (a), by striking “five-year period” both places it appears and inserting “10-year period”; and (2) in subsection (c)— (A) in paragraph (2), by striking “Not later than two years after the date of the enactment of this Act,” and inserting “During each of 2024 and 2029,”; and (B) in paragraphs (3) and (4), by striking “three years after the date of the enactment of this Act,” both places it appears and inserting “December 31, 2030,”.
