PROHIBITION ON THE USE OF FUNDS FROM CARRYING OUT A HIRING FREEZE, REDUCTION IN FORCE, OR HIRING DELAY WITHOUT CAUSE AT A PUBLIC SHIPYARD.

SEC. 1101. PROHIBITION ON THE USE OF FUNDS FROM CARRYING OUT A HIRING FREEZE, REDUCTION IN FORCE, OR HIRING DELAY WITHOUT CAUSE AT A PUBLIC SHIPYARD. None of the funds authorized to be appropriated by this Act or otherwise made available for fiscal year 2026 for the Department of Defense may be used to— (1) carry out a hiring freeze at a public shipyard; (2) carry out a reduction in force at a public shipyard; or (3) delay without cause the filling of a vacant Federal civilian employee position at a public shipyard.
