SEC. 1638. LIMITATION ON AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS PENDING NOTIFICATION OF TASKING AUTHORITY DELEGATION. Of the funds authorized to be appropriated by this Act or otherwise made available for fiscal year 2026 for Operation and Maintenance, Air Force, and available to the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force for travel purposes, not more than 85 percent may be obligated or expended until the date on which the Secretary of Defense notifies the congressional defense committees that the delegation of authority described in section 1638(e) of the James M. Inhofe National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023 (Public Law 117-263; 136 Stat. 2941) has been completed.
