MODIFICATION TO CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT REGARDING CONTRACTING FOR MILITARY RECRUITING.

SEC. 1541. MODIFICATION TO CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT REGARDING CONTRACTING FOR MILITARY RECRUITING. Section 1555 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024 (Public Law 118-31; 10 U.S.C. 503 note) is amended— (1) in subsection (a), by striking “does not” and all that follows through the end and inserting the following:““does not— “(1) rate or rank news or information sources for the factual accuracy of their content; “(2) provide ratings or opinions on news or in formation sources regarding misinformation, bias, adherence to journalistic standards, or ethics; or “(3) acquire or use any service that provides any ratings, rankings, or opinions described in paragraph (1) or (2) from any other person for military recruiting contracts.” ; (2) by striking subsection (b) and redesignating subsection (c) as subsection (b); and (3) in subsection (c), as so redesignated, by striking “the date” and all that follows through the period at the end and inserting “December 31, 2030.”.
