CONTINUATION AND MODIFICATION OF CERTAIN REPORTING REQUIREMENTS WITH RESPECT TO PRIVATIZED MILITARY HOUSING.

SEC. 2823. CONTINUATION AND MODIFICATION OF CERTAIN REPORTING REQUIREMENTS WITH RESPECT TO PRIVATIZED MILITARY HOUSING. (a) Modification of Report on Military Housing Privatization Projects.— (1) In general.—Subsection (c) of section 2884 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— (A) by adding at the end the following new subparagraphs: “(15) An explanation of— “(A) the housing data used by each Secretary concerned; and “(B) the housing data each Secretary concerned requests from companies responsible for managing privatization projects. “(16) An assessment of how each Secretary concerned uses such housing data to inform the on-base housing decisions for the military department under the jurisdiction of the Secretary. “(17) An explanation of— “(A) the limitations of any tenant satisfaction data collected by the Secretary concerned (including limitations with respect to the availability of such data); “(B) the process of the Secretary concerned for determining tenant satisfaction; and “(C) reasons for missing tenant satisfaction data, if any. “(18) To the maximum extent practicable, a breakdown of the information described in paragraphs (1) through (17), disaggregated by— “(A) military installation; and “(B) military housing privatization project.” ; and (B) in the heading, by striking “Annual” and inserting “Semi-annual”. (2) Conforming amendment.—Subsection (d)(1) of such section is amended by striking “paragraphs (1) through (14) of subsection (c)” and inserting “paragraphs (1) through (18) of subsection (c)”. (b) Continuation of Certain Reports on Privatized Military Housing.— (1) [10 U.S.C. 111 note] In general.—Section 1080(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016 (Public Law 114-92; 10 U.S.C. 111 note) does not apply to the reports required to be submitted to Congress under subsection (b) and subsection (c) of section 2884 of title 10, United States Code. (2) Conforming repeal.—Section 1061(c) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017 (Public Law 114-328; 10 U.S.C. 111 note) is amended by striking paragraph (52).
