SEC. 6623. STRATEGY ON INTELLIGENCE COORDINATION AND SHARING RELATING TO CRITICAL AND EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES. (a) Definition of Appropriate Committees of Congress.—In this section, the term “appropriate committees of Congress” means— (1) the congressional intelligence committees; (2) the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs and the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate; and (3) the Committee on Homeland Security and the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives. (b) Strategy.—Not later than 60 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Director of National Intelligence shall develop a strategy for— (1) coordinating the collection, processing, analysis, and dissemination of foreign intelligence relating to critical and emerging technologies across the intelligence community; and (2) the appropriate sharing of such intelligence with other Federal departments and agencies with responsibilities for regulation, innovation and research, science, public health, export control and screenings, and Federal financial tools. (c) Report.—Not later than 30 days after the development of the strategy required by subsection (b), the Director shall submit to the appropriate committees of Congress a copy of the strategy.
