SEC. 7217. REPORT ON 87-FOOT PATROL BOAT FLEET. Not later than 9 months after the date of enactment of this Act, the Commandant shall submit to the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate and the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the House of Representatives a detailed written briefing that describes the strategy of the Coast Guard with respect to replacing the mission capability provided by the full 87-foot patrol boat fleet that was operational on September 30, 2020.
