SEC. 820. The District of Columbia College Access Act of 1999 (sec. 38-2701 et seq., D.C. Official Code), is amended— (1) in section 3— (A) in subsection (a)(2)(A), by striking “$10,000” and inserting “$15,000”; (B) in subsection (a)(2)(B), by striking “$50,000” and inserting “$75,000”; and (C) in subsection (b)(1)— (i) in subparagraph (A), by striking “; and” and inserting a semicolon; (ii) by redesignating subparagraph (B) as subparagraph (C); (iii) by inserting after subparagraph (A) the following new subparagraph: “(B) after making reductions under subparagraph (A), ratably reduce the amount of the tuition and fee payment of each eligible student who receives more than $10,000 for the award year; and”; and (iv) in subparagraph (C), as so redesignated, by striking “subparagraph (A)” and inserting “subparagraph (B)”; and (2) in section 5— (A) in subsection (a)(2)(A), by striking “$2,500” and inserting “$3,750”; (B) in subsection (a)(2)(B), by striking “$12,500” and inserting “$18,750”; and (C) in subsection (b)(1)— (i) in subparagraph (A), by striking “; and” and inserting a semicolon; (ii) by redesignating subparagraph (B) as subparagraph (C); (iii) by inserting after subparagraph (A) the following new subparagraph: “(B) after making reductions under subparagraph (A), ratably reduce the amount of the tuition and fee payment of each eligible student who receives more than $2,500 for the award year; and”; and (iv) in subparagraph (C), as so redesignated, by striking “subparagraph (A)” and inserting “subparagraph (B)”.
