SEC. 5018. BANKRUPTCY FEES. (a) In General.—Section 126 of the Continuing Appropriations Act, 2026 (division A of the Continuing Appropriations, Agriculture, Legislative Branch, Military Construction and Veterans Affairs, and Extensions Act, 2026 (Public Law 119-37; 139 Stat. 502)) is amended to read as follows: “SEC. 126. “Notwithstanding section 106, during the period ending on the last day of the first calendar quarter of 2026, section 1930(a)(6)(B)(i) of title 28, United States Code, shall be applied as if ‘During the 5-year period’ were struck.” . (b) Application of Amendments Made by the Bankruptcy Administration Improvement Act of 2025.— (1) [11 U.S.C. 330 note] In general.—Section 6(b)(2)(A) of the Bankruptcy Administration Improvement Act of 2025 is amended by striking “on the” and inserting “on or after the”. (2) [11 U.S.C. 330 note] Effective date.—The amendment made by paragraph (1) shall take effect as though enacted immediately after the enactment of the Bankruptcy Administration Improvement Act of 2025.
