AUTHORIZATIONS OF APPROPRIATIONS.

SEC. 121. AUTHORIZATIONS OF APPROPRIATIONS. (a) In General.—The following amounts are authorized to be appropriated to carry out the United States International Broadcasting Act of 1994, the Radio Broadcasting to Cuba Act, and the Television Broadcasting to Cuba Act, and to carry out other authorities in law consistent with such purposes: (1) International broadcasting activities.—For “International Broadcasting Activities”, $385,900,000 for the fiscal year 2000, and $393,618,000 for the fiscal year 2001. (2) Broadcasting capital improvements.—For “Broadcasting Capital Improvements”, $20,868,000 for the fiscal year 2000, and $20,868,000 for the fiscal year 2001. (3) Broadcasting to cuba.—For “Broadcasting to Cuba”, $22,743,000 for the fiscal year 2000 and $22,743,000 for the fiscal year 2001. (4) Radio free asia.—For “Radio Free Asia”, $24,000,000 for the fiscal year 2000, and $30,000,000 for the fiscal year 2001.
