Sec. 272. Applicability of Federal Power Act.—Every licensee under this Act who holds a license from the Commission for a utilization or production facility for the generation of commercial electric energy under section 103 and who transmits such electric energy in interstate commerce or sells it at wholesale in interstate commerce shall be subject to the regulatory provisions of the Federal Power Act.[42 U.S.C 2019]
