definitions Sec. 1201. [22 U.S.C. 3641] As used in this chapter— (1) “Executive agency” has the meaning given that term in section 105 of title 5, United States Code; (2) “uniformed services” has the meaning given the term in section 2101(3) of title 5, United States Code; (3) “competitive service” has the meaning given that term in section 2102 of title 5, United States Code; and (4) “United States” when used in a geographic sense, means each of the several States and the District of Columbia.
