policy on broadcasts of rfe/rl and the voice of america concerning soviet religious persecution Sec. 306. It is the sense of the Congress that RFE/RL, Incorporated (commonly known as Radio Free Europe and Radio Liberty) and the Voice of America (VOA) are to be commended for their news and editorial coverage of the increasing religious persecution in the Soviet Union, including the declining levels of Jewish emigration, and are encouraged to intensify their efforts in this regard.
