To All Property and Casualty Insurers and Residual Markets in the State of Florida Order Granting Temporary Emergency Variance from Rule 69O-170.0155(l) The purpose of this Memorandum is to notify Florida Property and Casualty Insurers that the Office has issued a variance from Rule 69O-170.0155(l), Florida Administrative Code. This rule adopted Form OIR-B1-1802, “Uniform Mitigation Verification Inspection Form” (New 7/07), in accordance with Section 627.711(2), Florida Statutes. Effective immediately the Department of Financial Services may certify Form OIR-B1-1802, on behalf of the inspector, using Form OIR-B1-1804, for all inspections undertaken as part of the My Safe Florida Home Program for 30 days following the execution of this Order. Insurers shall use and accept such certified forms for the purposes of compliance with Section 627.711(2), Florida Statutes. For inspections undertaken as part of the MSFHP more than 30 days after the execution of this Order, the inspector who performed the inspection may, in addition to any documentation executed as part of the functions performed for the MSFHP, personally certify the inspection by signing Form OIR-B1- 1802. Insurers shall use and accept such certified forms for the purposes of compliance with Section 627.711(2), Florida Statutes. This notice is not intended to be a comprehensive analysis of the Order.
