CHAPTER 61G7-9 SELF FUNDED INSURANCE 61G7-9.001 Requirements for Self-Insurance for Employee Benefits or Workers’ Compensation 61G7-9.001 Requirements for Self-Insurance for Employee Benefits or Workers’ Compensation. (1) Each employee leasing company applicant or licensee which sponsors a plan of self insurance for employee benefits or workers' compensation benefits shall file with the Board a full description of such plan and shall incorporate in its financial statements all the assets and liabilities of any trust which it may have established for the purpose of funding said plan. (2) An employee leasing company applicant or licensee shall not be considered a sponsor of a plan of self-insurance solely by its participation in a workers' compensation self-insurance fund regulated and approved by the Department of Financial Services, Division of Workers’ Compensation.
