12B-4.042. Issues Subject to Tax

(1) Secured by Mortgage or Deed of Trust. A mortgage or other evidence of an indebtedness recorded in Florida securing a bond or a certificate of indebtedness, whether issued inside or outside Florida, is subject to the tax under Section 201.08(1)(b), F.S., based on the amount secured.
(2) Religious or Nonprofit Organizations. Bonds issued by religious or nonprofit organizations are subject to tax.
