LAUNCH OF GEORGIA INSURANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (GIMS)

KING INSURANCE AND SAFETY FIRE COMMISSIONER DATE: NOVEMBER 12, 2021 RE: LAUNCH OF GEORGIA INSURANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (GIMS) ______________________________________________________________________________ The Office of Commissioner of Insurance and Safety Fire (OCI) has launched the Georgia Insurance Management System (GIMS), a brand new one-stop site providing easier functionality for name approvals, staff adjusters, premium tax reconciliation, auditing responsibilities, and credit calculations. Testing was recently completed for Staff Adjusters and Emergency Adjusters and this functionality will be live beginning Monday, November 15. You can access the GIMS site at https://gims.oci.ga.gov. GIMS initially launched for Name Approvals on October 28, and OCI expects remaining modules to be live in the near future.
