Online Submission Mandated for License Reactivation
This Memorandum continues Commissioner’s Memorandum 2020-13LIC and
2021-6LIC provisions regarding the Insurance Division’s mandate for certain license
applications and renewals to be submitted online.
Effective March 21, 2022, all reactivations (i.e. nonrenewal or surrender within
one year of inactivation) for the following licenses must be submitted online. Hard
copies of the applications and checks submitted, by mail or walk-in,to the Insurance
Division on and after March 21, 2022 shall be rejected and returned.
Reactivation for the following licenses may be submitted online at www.nipr.com:
1. Resident Limited Lines Self-Service Storage Producer licenses
2. Resident & Nonresident Crop Adjuster – Limited Licenses
3. Resident & Nonresident Independent Adjuster licenses
4. Resident & Nonresident Insurance Producer Licenses
5. Resident & Nonresident Limited Lines Motor Vehicle Rental Company Producer
Licenses
6. Resident & Nonresident Limited Lines Producer Licenses
7. Resident & Nonresident Public Adjuster license
8. Resident & Nonresident Surplus Lines Broker Licenses
9. Resident & Nonresident Third-Party Administrators
10. Resident & Nonresident Workers’ Compensation Adjuster – Limited Licenses

This Memorandum also continues Commissioner’s Memorandum 2021-9LIC
provisions regarding the adoption of PLMA, PAMA, and IALG and the reduction of
reactivation period to one year, from two years.
An exam is not required if a license is reactivated within one year of inactivation
(except Workers’ Compensation Adjuster, re-exam is required). An exam is required if
a license is reactivated after one year of inactivation (apply as new).
PLEASE NOTE THAT BECAUSE ONLINE APPLICATIONS ARE BEING
SUBMITTED THROUGH A THIRD-PARTY VENDOR, THE INSURANCE DIVISION
CANNOT ISSUE REFUNDS FOR APPLICATIONS WITHDRAWN OR SUBMITTED IN
ERROR.
