Any insurer failing or refusing to pay the required taxes shall be liable for a fine of $500 or 10% of the tax due, whichever is greater; plus interest at a rate of 12% per annum on the delinquent taxes. The Commissioner may suspend or revoke the Certificate of Authority of any insurer that fails to file any of the documents required herein.
