HAR §17-2017-1. Purpose and applicability

The
purpose of this rule is to implement chapter 111, HRS.
These rules are not applicable in instances where
state agencies use federal funds (total or partial) to
implement a project which causes displacement of
individuals, families, businesses, farms or non-profit
organizations; applicable provisions of the Uniform
Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition
Policy Act of 1970 (ORA), as amended, shall apply to
relocatj&~~ when federal funds are involved.
