HAR §17-661-2. Definitions

As used in this chapter: "Administrative hearing" means an administrative proceeding which affords an aggrieved person an opportunity to present an appeal before the department's hearing officer. 661-3 "Assistance unit" means persons whose needs, income, and assets are considered in determining eligibility for financial assistance and the amount of financial assistance. "Caretaker relative" means a relative who provides care and supervision to children. "Categorical relatedness" means requirements which an individual shall meet in order to be eligible for assistance for a specific program.
