(a) If FNS disqualifies a drug addiction or alcohol treatment and rehabilitation program from participation as an authorized retail food store, the department §17-663-37 663-23 shall suspend the treatment program’s authorized representative status for the same period. (b) If the treatment program loses its authoriza- tion from FNS to accept and redeem SNAP benefits, or if the treatment program is no longer certified by the state department of health, the treatment program’s residents shall not be eligible to participate in the SNAP program. The residents shall not be entitled to a notice of adverse action but shall receive a written notice explaining the reason for the termination and the effective date of termination.
