HAR §11-21-4. Approval of devices

Before any backflow prevention device is installed, the device shall be manufactured in full conformance 21-4 §11-21-7 with the standards established by the American Water Works Association—AWWA—C506-78 and have met completely the laboratory and field performance specification of the Foundation for Cross-Connection Control and Hydraulic Research of the University of Southern California—FCCC and HR.
