HAR §19-14-7. Enforcement
Cite as Haw. Code R. § 19-14-7
This chapter may be
enforced by an enforcement officer or by any person
deputized pursuant to section 261-17, Hawaii Revised
Statutes.
When, in the opinion of the person enforcing this
chapter, arrest (rather than citation) is clearly
indicated to be in the public interest or necessary for
public safety, the person shall seek, by the most
expeditious means available, the assistance of the
appropriate county police department and, if possible,
deliver the alleged violator into its custody.
