HAR §4-157-6. Application for water service and service connections

(a) Each prospective consumer shall be required to sign the standard application form for the water service desired. A nonrefundable filing fee shall be required with each water service application. This application fee shall be in accordance with the amount established by the board. By signing the application form, the consumer assumes responsibility for the payment of future water charges at each designated location and to abide by these rules before water is turned on for any use whatsoever. The consumer signing the application form shall be held liable for the payment of all water charges at the designated location. The lessee or owner of the land shall also be liable for the water charges in the event that the consumer fails to pay.
