HAR §4-42-57. Inspection fees

(a) Fees for inspection service shall be paid by the applicant for such service at the rate of $33.40 per hour for regular time and $50.10 per hour for overtime. (b) Additional charges may be made for transportation, travel time, per diem, traveling expenses, and other actual expenses incurred by the depar t tmen . (c) Fees charged for appeal inspection in which the findings of the original inspection are sustained shall be double the fees of the original inspection. When it is judged that a material error in determination occurred in the original inspection and findings are reversed, the fee for the appeal inspe n ctio shall not be charged to the applicant. (d) Fees and related charges shall be paid in advan f ce i required by the inspector. (e) When payments of inspection fees are by check, a service fee shall be assessed for each check that is not honored.
