HAR §8-89-9. Right to seek other relief

** Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to limit or waive the right of the complainant to seek other relief as provided under federal and state laws. A complainant has the right to file a discrimination complaint with the federal or state government, including law enforcement agencies: (1) Without filing a complaint under this chapter; (2) At the same time a complaint is filed under this chapter; (3) At any time during the pendency of a complaint filed under this chapter; or (4) After a complaint filed under this chapter has been addressed.
