The ASME/NB stamping shall be legible, and insulation and paint shall not conceal the stamping. (c) Upon completion of the installation of a new pressure vessel, it shall be marked by an inspector employed by the department with a state serial number, consisting of letters and figures not less than 5/16 inch in height and arranged as HPV####-Year.
