HAR §13-300-67. Severability

If any provision, section, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase, or term of this chapter or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, the invalidity shall not affect any remaining provisions, sections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses, phrases, terms, or applications of the chapter which can be given full effect without the invalidity, and to this end the provisions, sections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses, phrases, and terms of this chapter are declared to be severable. [Eff SEP 28 1996 ] (Auth: HRS §6E-43.5) (Imp: HRS §§6E-43, 6E-43.5, 6E-43.6) §§13-300-68 to 13-300-70 (Reserved) DEPARTMENT OF LAND AND NATURAL RESOURCES Chapter 13-300, Hawai`i Administrative Rules, on the Summary Page dated September 2, 1996, was adopted September 13, 1996 following public hearings held on the islands of O`ahu on January 25, 1995 and May 23, 1996, Maui on January 26, 1995 and May 24, 1996, Kaua`i on January 27, 1995 and May 28, 1996, Hawai`i in Hilo January 30, 1995 and May 29, 1996 and in Kona January 31, 1995 and May 30, 1996, on Molokai February 1, 1995 and May 31, 1996, and on Lana`i February 2, 1995 and June 4, 1996, after public notice was given in the Honolulu Advertiser on December 25, 1994 and April 14, 1996, Hawai`i Tribune Herald on December 25, 1994 and April 14, 1996, West Hawai`i Today on April 14, 1996, Maui News on December 25, 1994 and April 14, 1996, and Garden Island on December 25, 1994 and April 14, 1996. The adoption of Chapter 13-300 shall take effect ten days after filing with the Office of the Lieutenant Governor. Note: The Honorable Governor Benjamin J. Cayetano signed the rules on September 17, 1996 and on September 18, 1996, the rules were filed with the Office of the Lieutenant Governor. The effective date of these rules is September 28, 1996.
