HAR §15-15-06. Chairperson and vice-chairperson

(a) The commissioners shall annually elect a chairperson and one or more vice-chairpersons from its members. (b) The chairperson shall have the responsibilities and duties prescribed in this chapter. (c) In the absence of the chairperson, the vice- chairperson or vice-chairpersons shall have the responsibilities and duties of the chairperson prescribed in this chapter. In case of resignation or incapacity of the chairperson, a vice-chairperson shal! perform such duties as are imposed on the chairperson until such time as the commission shall elect a new chairperson. In the event the chairperson or a vice- chairperson resigns, the commission shal! elect ÿa new chairperson or vice-chairperson, as the case may be, as soon as practicable after such resignation.
