(a)
In accordance with section 6E-42, HRS, developers of
new projects or projects proposing alterations to
historic or culturally significant properties shall
consult with the department of land and natural
resources, state historic preservation division
("SHPD"), to allow an opportunity for review of the
effect of the proposed project on any historic
properties or burial sites.
(b) A written letter of concurrence from SHPD or
adequate documentation that the applicant has complied
with the requirements of chapter 6E-10, HRS, shall be
included with the permit application to the authority.
(c) All SHPD requirements shall be completed by
the developer prior to submittal of a permit
application to the authority, unless otherwise
permitted by SHPD and approved by the executive
