(a) The executive director may impose requirements, limitations, and conditions with respect to the submission of applications and the selection thereof which are deemed necessary or appropriate. (b) The executive director may cause market studies and other research and analyses to be performed in order to determine the manner and conditions under which available credits are to be allocated, and such other matters as shall be deemed appropriate and related to the reservation and the allocation of credits. The corporation has been designated as the housing credit agency as defined in the Code and, in such capacity, shall allocate for each calendar year federal low income housing tax credits in accordance with the Code and this subchapter.
