HAR §16-186-102. Definitions

For purposes of this chapter: "Commissioner" means the insurance commissioner of the State. §16-186-102 186-2 "Insurance group" means the insurers and affiliates included within an insurance holding company system as defined in section 431:11-102, HRS. "Insurer" shall have the same meaning as set forth in section 431:3G-102, HRS, except that it shall not include agencies, authorities, or instrumentalities of the United States, its possessions and territories, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the District of Columbia, or a state or political subdivision of a state. "Senior management" shall mean any corporate officer responsible for reporting information to the board of directors at regular intervals or providing this information to shareholders or regulators and shall include, for example and without limitation, the chief executive officer, chief financial officer, chief operations officer, chief procurement officer, chief legal officer, chief information officer, chief technology officer, chief revenue officer, chief visionary officer, or any other "C" level executive.
