HAR §16-87-17. Records

The following records shall be maintained by the dealer: (1) Warranty work invoices; all warranty offered for repair work shall be so indicated on the repair order and shall indicate the terms of the warranty; (2) All invoices, relating to automative repair including invoices received from other sources for parts or labor, or both; (3) All written estimates pertaining to work performed, customer consent forms, and all other forms required by the board; and (4) All work orders or contracts for repairs, or both, parts and labor. All records shall be maintained for at least two years. The records shall be open for inspection by the board or other law enforcement officials.
