HAR §17-1705-1. Purpose

The purpose of this chapter
is to establish the requirements for applicants and
recipients of medical assistance. Applicants and
recipients shall:
(1)
Assign their rights to third party payments
and medical support;
(2)
Cooperate in obtaining third party payments
for medical assistance, pursuing any third
party who may be liable for medical support,
and obtaining child support; and
(3) Be required to satisfy all conditions set
forth by the third party to receive coverage,
to the extent coverage is available through
that third party, before Medicaid
reimbursement is allowed. [Eff 08/01/94;
