Research Projects

01. Written Policy. The Provider must have a written policy regarding the participation of juvenile offenders in research projects that prohibits participation in medical or pharmaceutical testing for experimental or research purposes. (3-31-22) 02. Voluntary Participation. Policies must govern voluntary participation in non-medical and non- pharmaceutical research programs. However, juvenile offenders may not participate in any research program without IDAHO ADMINISTRATIVE CODE IDAPA 05.02.01 Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections Rules for Residential Treatment Providers Section 134 Page 22 prior written approval from the Director or designee.
