01. Exception. No horses may be entered into a race utilizing a Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug, except DMSO, unless: (7-1-24) a. The Trainer and Veterinarian of the horse submit to the Commission Veterinarian the Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug Request Form; and (7-1-24) b. The Commission Veterinarian has granted written approval for the use. (7-1-24) 02. Procedures. The Commission Veterinarian must establish and publish reasonable procedures pertaining to use of the Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug Request Form. (7-1-24) 03. Posted. A copy of the established procedures must be posted in the office of the Racing Secretary. (7-1-24)
