Testing Without Informed Consent

A physician may order blood tests for the following diseases when an informed consent is not possible and there has been or is likely to be significant exposure to a personโ€™s blood or body fluids by a person providing emergency or medical services, as per Section 39-4905, Idaho Code: (7-1-26) 01.
