Former Foster Child

An individual who is between the age of eighteen (18) and twenty-six (26), who was in foster care and became ineligible for Medicaid as a foster child due to age, may receive Medicaid coverage until their twenty-sixth birthday. There are no financial eligibility criteria. The only non-financial criteria are the receipt of foster care services and age. (7-1-24) 526. -- 529.
