Service Coordination: Definitions

01. Conflict of Interest. A situation in which an agency or person directly or indirectly influences, or appears to influence, the direction of a participant to other services for financial gain. (7-1-26) 02. Crisis. An unanticipated event, circumstance, or life situation placing a participant at risk of hospitalization, loss of housing, loss of employment or major source of income, incarceration, or physical harm to self or others, including family altercation or psychiatric relapse.
