Unless circumstances beyond the Department’s control prohibit it, each application is to be acted upon within thirt y (30) days from the date the application is completed and signed by the participant. An application for LIHEA P assistance will be disposed of by one (1) of the following three (3) methods: (4-6-23) 01. Approval. A determination the participant household is eligible for LIHEAP benefits. (4-6-23) 02. Denial. A determination the participant household is ineligible for LIHEAP benefits or tha t eligibility could not be determined due to lack of necessary information or verification. (4-6-23) 03. Withdrawal. The participant household voluntarily requests that no further consideration be give n to their application or the participant becomes deceased. (4-6-23)
