Legal Authority

The Idaho Board of Health and Welfare is authorized under the Developmental Disabilities Services and Facilitie s Act, Sections 39-4601 et seq., Idaho Code, and under Section 56-1003, Idaho Code, to adopt and enforce rules , standards, and certification criteria for Residential Habilitation Agencies and provide for the delivery of appropriat e services of habilitation and rehabilitation to the eligible population.
