Placement Agreement

The agency must use a placement agreement, signed by the foster parents and the agency before placing a child in a foster home, that identifies the responsibilities of the agency including supervision, support services for the foster family, and the responsibilities of the foster family. The foster family must be informed of and agree to follow the agency’s policies and procedures. An agency must review annually the agreement with the foster family and, when needed, develop a new agreement. The organization must provide the foster family with a copy of the signed current IDAHO ADMINISTRATIVE CODE IDAPA 16.04.18 Department of Health and Welfare Children’s Agencies & Residential Licensing Section 305 Page 22 placement agreement and maintain a copy in the foster home record.
