Quarantines

All cattle, bison, goats, and domestic cervidae animals or herds that are exposed to, or infected with tuberculosis shal l be quarantined. (3-31-22) 01. Infected Herds. Infected herds or animals remain under quarantine until such time as the herd ha s been completely depopulated or the provisions for release of quarantine provided in the UMR for bovine tuberculosi s have been met. (3-31-22) 02. Exposed Herds. The quarantine for exposed herds or animals may take the form of a Hold-Order, which remains in effect until the exposed animals have been tested negative or the provisions for release o f quarantine provided in the UMR for bovine tuberculosis are met. (3-31-22) 03. Validity of Quarantine. The quarantine is valid whether or not it is acknowledged by signature o f the owner. (3-31-22)
