01. Clean. The fruit is practically free from dirt, dust, spray residue, or other foreign material. (7-1-26) 02. Damage. Any specific defect or any equally objectionable variation of defects, that materially detracts from the appearance, or the edible or marketing quality of the fruit. (7-1-26) 03. Diameter. The greatest dimension measured at right angles to a line from the stem to the blossom end of the fruit. (7-1-26) 04. Mature. The fruit has reached the stage of growth that will insure the proper completion of the ripening process. (7-1-26) 05. Permanent Defects.
